This includes the yogic concepts of mai tri and karuna — friendliness and compassion. We will explore ways to br ing lightness\, levity\, creativity\, and joy into our practice. Together\ , we will investigate these themes across families of poses and specific a sanas using playful and imaginative approaches that include both our bodie s and props. \nOur final session on Monday is teacher education that is de signed for CIYTs at all levels\, as well as apprentices aspiring toward ce rtification. This session will focus on bringing joy into our lives as tea chers\, and specifically exploring practical ways to infuse joy into the w ay we teach. \nRecordings for Saturday and Sunday will be sent to all who are registered. \nOne month after the immersion\, we will gather online fo r a special follow-up session with Uday.  This bonus session is open to a ll who joined us for the weekend.  It is an opportunity to reconnect\, as k questions\, and explore what begins to arise once the teachings have set tled into practice and daily life. Often\, the most valuable learning begi ns after the workshop ends — when we attempt something new\, notice patt erns and encounter fresh questions in our home practice and teaching.
