 e Deep South Festival takes place at the EBRPL-Main Library on Goodwood Bo
 ulevard on September 19 and 20 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. The event features 
 various genres of music. The festival has a Vendor Village with arts and c
 rafts\, clothing and jewelry and a food court with southern festival food 
 favorites. Musical talent to date includes local favorites Henry Turner Jr
 . & Flavor\, The Listening Room All-Stars and the Phoenix Rouge Dance Trou
 pe. Additional talent should include Voodoo Junction\, DRTY COTN and Geeks
 ter the Super Nerd. Contests include a Henry Turner Jr. Look-A-Like Contes
 t and Watermelon Eating Contest. \nThe event is family friendly and free t
 o the public. Special VIP tickets are available on the website. VIP Experi
 ence cost is $25.00 and includes two meal and two soft drink tickets. Turn
 er VIP tickets are $100.00 for two people with two T-shirts\, four meal an
 d drink tickets\, covered seating in the VIP access tent and a “Now” C
 D by Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor. Food is from the festival Taste of Louisia
