DESCRIPTION:Based on the bestselling book “At the Wolf’s Table” by I
talian author Rosella Postorino\, THE TASTERS follows a group of women who
were recruited by the SS in 1943 to make sure that the food being served
to Hitler was not poisoned. Forced to eat what might kill them\, the taste
rs start to split into two factions: those loyal to Hitler and those who i
nsist they aren’t Nazis\, even as they risk their lives everyday for the
Führer.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHY WE LIKE THIS FILM: In 2012\, at the age
of 95\, shortly before her death\, a woman named Margot Wölk revealed tha
t she had been one of the young German women forced to taste Hitler’s me
als. No one had ever known about the existence of the food tasters. Margot
Wölk was the only one among them to survive the end of the war. Her stor
y inspired both the novel and the film. Although the Jewish content isn’
t immeidately obvious\, it becomes revealed towards the end of the movie.

DESCRIPTION:Life while managing an invisible disability can often be overw
helming\, especially when also managing academics. In this peer-led commun

connect with each other over this often-unseen part of our lives. Whether
trying to balance classes with medical needs or dealing with internalized
stigma or impostor syndrome\, we all deserve support and community. No for
mal diagnosies is required.\n\nNote: This is not a replacement for clinica

can find community and social connection that goes beyond surface-level. T
hey are places to step away from the grind and let down the mask\, where m
utual support\, imperfection\, and “real” conversations are the expect

be themselves and feel at home\, where their resources and inner wisdom c
