DESCRIPTION:Finding a supportive LGBTQIA+ community can be challenging\, e
specially when you're busy with academics or still working through complex
parts of your identity or personal history. Within LGBTQIA Mental Wellnes
s we delve into the many facets of being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community
while creating opportunities for joy and well-being. Through artistic acti
vities\, intentional conversation and storytelling\, we explore this piece
of our lives while learning from each other. Come join a community that i
s welcoming for all\, centered around our unique journeys. \n\nNote: This
is not a replacement for clinical mental health services.\n\n \n\nSHARE Co
mmunities are weekly student-led groups where peers with similar interests
\, concerns\, or wellness goals can find community and social connection t
hat goes beyond surface-level. They are places to step away from the grind
and let down the mask\, where mutual support\, imperfection\, and “real
” conversations are the expectation rather than the exception. We aim to
give fellow students a place to be themselves and feel at home\, where th
eir resources and inner wisdom can directly benefit others going through s
 imilar struggles.\n\n \n\nINTEREST FORM:https://utexas.qualtrics.com/jfe/f
orm/SV_0cQj17kHGFMwma2\n\n \n\nAny UT student may submit an interest form
and attend ANY open SHARE Community at ANY time of the semester. Submittin
g an interest form is not a commitment\, just an introduction to connect y
 ou with our peer facilitators!
