 but because they haven’t been taught how to work with their thoughts\, e

 ation + sound bath\, contemplative readings from W.S. Merwin\, and time fo
 r personal journaling and quiet time in nature. All mind-body practices wi
 ll be gentle and accessible\, including the choice to do any seated moveme
 nts or meditations in a chair or on a cushion according to your own body
 ’s needs. \nJenne Sluder\, MA C-IAYT holds a Master’s in Transpersonal
  Psychology: Ecopsychology from Naropa University. She is a certified yoga
  therapist\, mind-body specialist\, and meditation instructor. Jenne is al
 so an environmental educator and spent her undergrad years working and stu
 dying under the direct mentorship of Thomas Berry and Joseph Cornell at th
 e Center for Education\, Imagination\, and the Natural World\, continuing 
 her studies in nature-based rites of passage with the School of Lost Borde
 rs and the Earth-Based Institute. An Asheville native\, Jenne works one-on
 -one with individuals and with groups using mindfulness-based\, nature-bas

 lease note: This is a 4-week class offering on Wednesdays from 11:45am-12:
 45pm. You are welcome to join any or all of these classes\, but they will 
 be capped at 15 students & their children\, to allow for ample integration
 . Please consider registering in advance\, and if you cannot make it\, ple
 ase plan to cancel as soon as you know. There will not be a waitlist for t
 his series\, but if spaces are open day-of\, parents are welcome to sign u

 \nIn order to cater to those experiencing the first year of this transitio
 n\, we developed this course designed for new parents/caregivers seeking a
  safe and nurturing space to breathe\, stretch and bond with their new bun
 dle of joy. We wish to create an experience that will allow parents/caregi
 vers to benefit from the physical\, emotional and spiritual connection bet
 ween themselves and their little ones.  \nOne can anticipate light breath
 work\, gentle movements\, restorative postures\, baby massages\, and mor
 e.  \nThis class is for 0-12 month old babies or pre-walkers. Crawlers ar
 e welcome. If you have twins\, please consider bringing an additional pers
 on with you\, if possible.  \nGuardians\, please bring your own blankets.
   Mats and blocks will be provided for this class.  For sanitation purpo
 ses\, bolsters can only be used if covered/protected by a blanket brought

 Gentle YogaBaby Yoga/MassageClosing Song \nAbout the teacher: Katie is an
  RYT-200 yoga teacher\, educator\, and mom of two with a Bachelor of Edu
 cation and a passion for supporting children and families. She has complet
 ed specialized perinatal yoga training\, deepening her knowledge of pregn
 ancy\, mindful movement\, breath\, meditation\, and creating nurturing spa
 ces for mothers and babies. \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration f
 or all programming. Registering in advance guarantees your spot and helps 
 the studio have adequate staffing.  \nRefund Policy: We understand that l
 ife happens and unforeseen circumstances come up. If life offers up an une
 xpected event and you need to withdraw from the class:  \n\nA full refund
  will be issued if you need to withdraw 48 hours before the class. Please 
 reach out for your refund\, as it will not be automatically applied to you
 r account.\n\nIf you need to withdraw after the 48 hour window\, no refund
  is provided.  \n\n\nPlease create a Mindbody account for each participan

   \nLate Policy: Doors will close at the workshop start time. We encoura
 ge you to arrive at least 15 minutes before the workshop start time to ens

  do have a 10 minute grace period\, and we encourage you to call the studi
 o to let us know if you are running behind. If you are later than 10 min
 utes after the start of the workshop\, there is a chance you will not be a
 ble to enter and no refund will be given. \n\nCapacity: Please note: Some
