with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. \nHail
ing from Kennett\, Missouri\, David Nail is well-respected up and down Mus
ic Row. Some might even call him a “tour de force” as his songs pull n
o punches in evoking the demons with which he has wrestled through much of
  his life.  \nThe GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum singer/songwriter’s e
arly releases\, I’m About To Come Alive\, The Sound Of A Million Dreams\
, I’m A Fire and Fighter\, ignited his reputation as an innovator and cr
eative risk-taker yet left Nail feeling restless. This led to the departur
e of the only record company home he’d ever known\, MCA Nashville\, wher
e he’d formed friendships that endure even now. Through dealing with his
own journey of mental health and the feeling of needing to “rebel again
st what people expect you to be\,” Nail began making his most “organic
” work to date\, David Nail & The Well Ravens\, with Jason Hall and Andr
ew Petroff. That project liberated Nail and propelled him into his next ad
venture. Writing solo for the next few months led to his debut solo indepe
ndent EP Oh\, Mother\, a reflective piece of work. Of the title track\, Ro
lling Stone noted that “the song creeps in like a sunrise — quiet\, re
strained cello and keys are the only underpinning for Nail’s powerful vo
cals at first. But then it slowly builds to something more massive and maj
estic.” That release was followed by Bootheel 2020 and Bootheel 2021\, p
rojects dedicated to the singer/songwriter’s hometown in the “bootheel
” of Missouri. Nail released an EP titled Best of Me in 2023 and the tit
le track has seen heavy press support and country radio airplay. 2024 brou
ght more touring than ever\, two great single releases “If I Could Call
” and “Why” featuring Aubrie Sellers.  \nNail plans on releasing th
e start of an excitingly different and elevated album project this year le
aving behind any self-imposed restrictions. In Nail’s own words\, “My
philosophy has always been\, I just hope to have a good enough year that I
can have a next year while staying as true to myself as I possibly can.
 ”

Bros. Landreth are two-time JUNO Award winners from Winnipeg\, known for t
heir blend of guitar-driven\, soulful\, blood harmony roots music. The ban
d\, the core of which consists of brothers Dave and Joey Landreth\, has ea
rned critical acclaim and a dedicated audience for their heartfelt songs\,
inventive musicianship\, and powerful performances. From their early days
attending their father’s gigs as babies (“Mom would tuck us into a ba
ssinet and slide us under the bar tables\,” says Dave)\, the brothers ha
ve spent a lifetime touring rock clubs\, theatres\, and music festivals ac
 ross North America\, the UK\, Europe\, and Australia\, including stand-out
performances at Byron Bay Blues Festival in Australia and Eric Clapton’
s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles. In 2023\, a banner year for t
he band\, Joey and Dave became Grammy-winning songwriters when Bonnie Rait
t’s cover of their song\, Made Up Mind (from their first album\, Let it
Lie)\, earned the Grammy for Americana Performance of the Year. The recogn
ition was a fitting nod from one of their musical heroes\, as their own mu
sic draws inspiration from the well-worn records of their childhood — Bo
 nnie Raitt’s blues\, Little Feat’s funky country-rock\, Ry Cooder’s
eclectic instrumentals\, Lyle Lovett’s twangy traditionalism — culmina
ting in a sound that salutes the past while planting its flag firmly in th
e present. \nDrawing on the energy of their recent live shows and a newfou
nd sense of creative purpose\, The Bros. Landreth returned to the studio f
or their fourth full-length album\, Dog Ear. This record captures the spon
taneous and collaborative spirit of their touring band\, which includes dr
ummer Roman Clarke and producer Murray Pulver\, and marks a new\, more eff
ortless approach to songwriting. The band describes the album as a deeply
personal and emotionally resonant work\, exploring themes of family and th
e quest for stability amidst the itinerant life of a touring musician\, an
d says it’s “really about trying to figure out what it means to be a c
onsistent force in the lives of the people you care about.” With songs l
ike the title track written for their children\, the album captures a raw
and focused energy in the studio\, featuring a handful of magical first ta
kes and special collaborations with pop vocalist Begonia\, keyboardist Gle
nn Patscha\, and a powerful guest vocal performance from their longtime he
ro\, Bonnie Raitt\, who appears on two tracks (Knuckles\, Half Moon Eyes).
