DESCRIPTION:Come make a splash in Huskies Group Swim Lessons! American Red
  Cross Parent & Child Aquatics levels are being offered at the SDC Pool fo
 r ages 6 months to 3 years old. A parent is required to be in the water wi
 th each participant.\n\nParent and Child Aquatics\nAges: 6 months to 3 yea
 rs\nA parent is required to be in the water with each participant.\nDescri
 ption: The purpose of the course is to familiarize children with the water
  and teach swimming readiness skills. In addition\, Red Cross Parent and C
 hild Aquatics provides safety information for parents and teaches parents 
 techniques they can use to help orient their children to the water.\nLearn
 ing Objectives:\n● Learn to ask for permission before entering the water
 \n● Understand the need for adult supervision around water\n● Learn ho
 w to enter and exit the water safely\n● Feel comfortable in the water\n
 ● Practice blowing bubbles\n● Explore submerging to the mouth\, nose\,
  eyes and completely \n● Explore submerging in a rhythmic pattern\n● E
 xplore buoyancy on the front and back position \n● Glide on the front an
 d back with assistance\n● Change position in the water\n● Perform a ru
 dimentary stroke using combined arm and leg actions on the front and back 
 with assistance\n● Learn how to play safely in the water\n● Experience
  wearing a U.S Coast Guard-approved life jacket\nNo previous swimming less
 on skills or history needed to participate in this level.\n\nSpace will be
  provided for personal items on the pool deck. Goggles are highly recommen
