 ally and shows up in how we serve our community\,” said Chris Simonsen\,
  CEO of Orangewood Foundation. “In order to provide the life-changing su
 pport that Orange County’s teens and young adults need\, we need an equa
 lly strong workforce behind them.”								\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				
 \n									The criteria to be considered as part of the Orange County Busi
 ness Journal’s Top Workplaces is highly contingent on employee satisfact
 ion. Eighty percent of the survey weighting is based on employee experienc
 e while the remaining 20% covers the employer’s workplace policies\, pra
 ctices\, and demographics. Notable survey findings included that 94% of em
 ployees thought highly of the Core Employee Experience and the firm’s pr
 actices of supporting Diversity and Inclusion.    Despite spanning 16 pr
 ograms and various departments\, Orangewood’s 130 employees are unit
 ed by a single mission: delivering the best possible outcomes for teens an
 d young adults in need. That shared purpose is what defines its culture. 
    Orangewood is the only organization in Orange County that provides com
 prehensive wrap-around services for vulnerable teens and young adults\, sp
 anning housing\, life skills & employment\, education\, and basic needs an
 d support. To date\, Orangewood has provided more than 12\,700 hot meals\,
  secured housing for over 290 young adults\, and awarded more than 270 sch
 olarships. Looking ahead to 2030\, Orangewood plans to build on this progr
 ess by increasing housing capacity\, expanding partnerships\, and further 
 developing its workforce.    The foundation cares for its staff as much
  as it does for the teens and young adults it serves\, and that commitm
 ent shows up in concrete ways. The nonprofit expanded benefits and advoca
 ted for equitable compensation. It has also invested in employee well-bei
 ng\, offering training in psychological safety\, inclusive leadership and 
 social agility\, along with access to mental health resources like Headspa

 -American multi-instrumentalist\, producer & songwriter based in Los Angel
 es who leads an ensemble of LA's finest musicians from behind his drums. B
 orn and raised in Orange County\, Shane grew up playing and attending loca
 l jazz shows in the greater OC area\, being awarded the Steamers & Friends
  of Jazz High School Scholarship award in 2013. Currently releasing music 
 independently\, Shane has amassed over 3.5 million streams across his cata
 logue\, with multiple tracks featured on Spotify playlists such as Fresh F
 inds Jazz\, Morning Rhythm\, & Jazzy Beats. In May 2026\, Shane released h
 is sophomore solo album\, Wavelength\, which explores a palette that moves
  between jazz\, indie\, & soul\, and features collaborations with artists 
 such as Braxton Cook\, Reuben James\, and Nao Yoshioka. Looking ahead\, Sh
